Price caps do not work. They never have. They result in service shortages and poor care. The problem isn't the suppliers and providers. The problem arises from government interfering in the normal market forces of price and value competition.

Beyond that, I'll need to see some support for the claim you are making. The 'huge profits' you're talking about are generally non-existent in a free market economy; price/demand is skewed when government covers costs without demanding any sort of accountability.

Does not this moron understand the premium difference and insurer risk difference between HEALTH insurance, CAR insurance, and RENTER'S insurance? Does he actually think that the differences between the health premium and the car and renter's premiums are due solely to the fact that one of them is due to the fact that it is a government program and the other two are "private"?
