This is a direct result of intellectual property laws that grant companies temporary monopolies on a particular invention. That is the only way they can justify these exorbitant prices.

Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

We have a Winner!
And here is the Fun part. We have all of these Democrats that Will Look you in the eye and tell you that, they are going to put an end to this, and just how wrong and Greedy these practices are?
But when you start to look further?
Just Who is this CEO that is doing this?
Early life and education
Bresch grew up in Fairmont and Farmington, West Virginia in a Catholic Italian American family.[4] Her father, Joe Manchin, was a prominent politician throughout her childhood and is presently the United States Senator from West Virginia.[1] Bresch attended Fairmont Senior High School in Fairmont, West Virginia[5] and graduated from West Virginia University (WVU) in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in political science and international relations
That is Right, She is the daughter of one of the most powerful Democrat Senators in the country!
So Democrats you have all been on here telling us just how terrible this is? Now it is exactly why the Big Pharmacy is backing Hillary Clinton.
The Democrats protect this with massive Regulations and then profiteer off from the suffering of the people
This is what the Democrats have in store for the common folks.

So what? The laws are still in effect. Jeff Bezos isn't Dr. Evil. Jeff Bezos is worth billions because of Amazon stock which derives its value from being able to deliver value to its customers. You can't separate wealth from why thibgs have value. The very wealthy are very good at allocating resources. The wealthiest one I might add doesn't come close in soE, scale or scope to the government.
There are maany things that truly do require lots and lots of capital and for those things we have corporations run by the likes of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk......and the reason these people are wealthy is because they've convinced the market they know what they are doing.

I didn't say he was evil. I don't think rich people are particularly evil - no more than anyone else, anyways!
What I think is that the level of wealth inequality is proof that something is wrong. If wealth is being this concentrated, it means that our population is becoming less able, not more.
I believe in improving the individual. I think that if we give people choice, and work to make their life better, they will make better choices. This creates a cycle we call "civilization."
The simple facts show that you have tens of millions of people with zero net worth. They are worth nothing, even though they work everyday. The system props them up, with debt, and one day they might get out of it - by investing in the system.
The whole thing seems absurd to me. There is simply no way that one human being is worth ten million others. It isn't possible, it isn't rational, it never has made sense and it never will.
Wealth/Capital is NOT fixed.
There are trillion dollar ideas which sadly only exst in theory, like say the cure for cancer.
Wealth is the payoff of beneficial activities, its accumulation is a signal from society to do MORE of that. Its very important actually.
Frankly the mindset you espouse leads directly to poverty without passing go. Hamstringing wealth creation and accumulation to an arbitrary amount would lead to the direct impoverishing of the entire nation.
Instead of the best of things prevailing, the mediocre of things would prevail.
