How Trump could win, or Are Dems going to get too complacent?

I've been seeing more and more talk of how Trump is dropping in the polls, against Clinton. And this has me worried.

If the idea that Clinton essentially has a lock on the Presidency takes hold, it's quite possible that Clinton supporters could become convinced that she's going to win no matter what, and so it won't matter if they don't get to the polls. Or it won't matter if they vote for Stein. And, if enough of them think that way, Clinton's lead could evaporate. We could be looking at President Trump.

If that happens, we can only hope that he hires Bill or Hillary to do the job of the President, while he goes around being a winner.

I have predicted record low turnouts for the dems this year.

    Hillary is just too corrupt.

I expect record low turnout for the reps, as well. Trump is too contemptible for the bulk of them to stomach.

That's why I'm worried. With low turnout for both, every vote going to a third party, or just staying home, has a larger than normal impact.

I have a couple of friends who still feel guilty about blowing their votes on Nader in FL in 2000.

BTW, any thoughts on Kelli Ward's attempts to shove McCain into hospice care?

While I obviously want Clinton to win, I'd like the polls to remain close enough to get as many people who want to vote for her as possible out to vote. Even if they're voting for her only because they can't stand the idea of President Trump.

I have no doubt that there will be some voting for Trump, because they don't want another President Clinton. Mind you, it strikes me as borderline insane, putting that useful idiot in the White House.

It strikes me as well beyond insane to put that crook in office. She isn't fit to take the trash out of my office.

I dont think you have to worry to much about clinton being elected. Trump has had everything and everyone against him from day one. That includes establishment republicans that are scared to death of him
