Heathcliff, the protagonist of WH, was a total dumbass.
I pointed that out to my gf and she said that if she didn't ask me out we never would have hooked up.
So, I guess bethere was a dumbass, too.
If you like long books about guys who are dumbasses your winner would be Anna Karenina. No doubt that Tolstoy was the reason for setting up the Gulag Archipelago.
