    Plant-based sources of calcium

    @Chloe @IMPress Polly

    I am seeing a lot of contradictory information on the web so I figured I'd ask some people who live this lifestyle to one degree or another. On the one hand, I've read that leafy greens, broccoli etc. contain a certain acid that inhibits the absorption of calcium. OTOH, I've read that the calcium found in greens is readily absorbed. What gives? This question occurred to me this morning because I came home from work yesterday with my groceries and put everything away except for the milk. I don't feel like going back to the store.
    Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

    Greens may not be perfect, but milk is worse. Tests have shown that calcium from dairy gets excreted in the urine; the more you get, the more you lose.
    Therefore, the best way to get calcium is from plant foods.
