I have no power on this forum, Mac. You can tell me to poof-off too and nothing will be different.

I just said that because first you jumped on me and then you stereotyped Safety.

I think we should back the blue till all the facts are in whereas FindersKeepers wants to pander to Black Lives Matter wackos by jumping to conclusions.

To me this has nothing whatsoever to do with BLM and everything to do with how we want our officers to respond.

Sure, I could miss something -- I'm just saying that, as far as what I've learned about the Tulsa shooting -- I think the female officer made an unforgivable mistake. Perhaps further information will convince me otherwise. I'm just giving you my opinion right now.

The NC shooting - right now - looks like a righteous one, if we can believe what the media is telling us.

Just my opinion, but you're free to tell me to poof-off. I don't report anyone for anything and I don't dish it out unless I can take it if it gets dished back. Being a VIP just means my name is in blue -- it doesn't mean I'm special.

    Promise.

Jury Acquits Tulsa Officer Betty Shelby in Shooting Death of Terence Crutcher

    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/...utcher-n761206

A jury on Wednesday acquitted a white Oklahoma police officer in the shooting death of an unarmed black man in Tulsa last year.

Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby, 43, had been charged with manslaughter in the September 2016 shooting death of Terence Crutcher, 40, during an encounter that began with the report of a stalled vehicle.

The district attorney's office announced a verdict had been reached shortly after 9 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET), more than eight hours after deliberations began, NBC affiliate KJRH reported.

The manslaughter trial against Shelby opened May 10 with prosecutors laying out how the five-year veteran of the Tulsa Police Department encountered Crutcher — what should have been a routine traffic matter that went too far, they said.

Instead, Crutcher's death — another involving an unarmed black man at the hands of police — touched off Black Lives Matter protests and calls for greater transparency from local authorities.

Crutcher's family called the verdict a disappointment, and called the police department "corrupt" after being led out of the courtroom filled with emotion. Crutcher's twin sister, Tiffany Crutcher, said her brother's hands were up, that he was not an imminent threat or attack her and didn't deserve to be shot.

"Terence was not the aggressor; Betty Shelby was the aggressor," she said.

    "Betty Shelby had the gun.

Betty Shelby was following him with his hands up."

Ok ! With your hands up walk back to your car..then drop your hands as if you are going to enter your vehicle at which time an officer will shoot you ending your life.

Or you can exit your vehicle and run from the officer at which time you will be shot in the back.

    Choose one.

People should really be better educated about cops. If you don't do what they say, your chances of being shot increase astronomically to an almost certainty.
