The marble, and tile is not from the USA.

The bedding and window Treatments are not from the USA.

It is not surprising, because we just don't have the ability to compete in those markets anymore
I try and purchase products made in the USA as often as possible. My TV is South Korean. The tiles I installed years ago though,USA. Window treatments custom made by a local dude. I could go on and on. You have to be willing to look for this stuff and its not WalMart so its going to be more expensive.

He's a businessman. You really think he's going to spend more money to only use American products? That wouldn't be very financially smart, although it would be good for his image. I don't think it actually hurts his image; however, given that he's a businessman and will always look at ways of saving money.

Imho, This sure shows that Trump needs to seriously put his money where his mouth is. How can he think Americans are going to believe that he will create jobs in this country when his stuff is imported or brought in from overseas as the report has brought out? You know, it's hard to change the spots on a leopard....
    .
Most every retail establishment in Anerica is filled with Chinese made products. I don't know how you can avoid it today.

I guess you could change that by reviving American manufacturing through sane tax policy.

I agree. Also it isn't the best location. Not a lot right next to it. Although it isn't a long walk to some nice places.

A lot of hotels, restaurants etc are now looking more and more at the American made products available. We're experiencing a renaissance of sorts when it comes to locally made products. They can't fill a hotel with them, but they can certainly fill a lot of their needs with them. There are plenty of hotel furniture companies in the US that source locally.

But Trump's style is style over substance. Gold paint and gaudy finishes.
