The term "Thug" has been in use for a long time. I have never known it to be used exclusively to describe Blacks. It would probably take you about a minute on your search engine to find hundreds, if not thousands of references to "thugs", in which the person being described was not Black.

Not on this Forum ... we all know who uses the term and why ... so let's stop playing games.

I've been Black for 50 years longer than you, so I don't feel like I need to justify anything to anyone. Why? Because unlike most Black People, I have always settled racism toward me at the spot it took place. So to answer your question truthfully, I don't allow people of any color to disrespect me ot mistreat me without me dishing it back in equal measures. No one has kept me from doing anything, I'm doing exactly what I want to do.

But I suggest that you have a fair amount of Education, you have not engaged in illegal activity. You worked hard and created your own business. I would bet that you do not dress like someone from Thug life.

And I am guessing that you rarely have to justify your race. Though you still hold hate and bias toward white people in your heart. Why do you think that is?

And if what you stated is True, and I have no reason to doubt you, Could not other young Black men follow your example and overcome their situations as well?

I thought that we were having an Honest conversation? If that is the case, you can't assume you know the answers any more than I can.

For you to assume that Thug is a racial term is not being Honest.

For me it is a term to define Violent Criminal, or someone that desires that path in life. Nothing more.

I honestly don't know whether anyone other than a Black person has been described as a "thug" on this forum. I suspect it someone has, but I can't say for certain.

Of course, most often on this forum, when thuggish behavior is brought up, it is usually related to inner city gangs, more specifically, Black inner city gangs, so I am pretty certain it has been applied much more often to Blacks than non-Blacks, but I can say it has been applied EXCLUSIVELY to Blacks.

I still maintain a thug is a thug is a thug, regardless of skin color or ethnicity.
