    Everyone is telling me that Crisco works like a charm for dealing with that pine tar, going to give that a try but I have to buy some, I don't keep that death-in-a-can laying around, lol.

    Basically, alcohol works. So does nail polish remover (acetone).

    You don't keep rubbing alcohol around? Shoot, even some gasoline from your lawn mower would work. Anything that will strip varnish will work on pine tar.

    We got it off with paper towels and gojo. I thought about gasoline but meh, digging that $#@! out and dumping it everywhere.

    Wish I knew of accessable pines here. I got a BUNCH of purple Basil. It self seeds so.. now a LOT. Pine nuts at the store are EXPENSIVE. I did try grinding sunflower seeds.. it's not the same though.
