How aliens and Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell got tangled up in WikiLeaks emails

WikiLeaks’ purloined emails cover a wide range of issues that were handled by Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, but the farthest-out issues may well have to do with E.T., alien energy sources and Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell.

While GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump focused his fire on what the WikiLeaks file had to say about Clinton’s Wall Street speeches, UFO fans dwelled on what Mitchell was telling Podesta as he made the transition from the Obama White House to the Clinton campaign in 2015.

In an email from January of that year, Mitchell asked for an urgent meeting with Podesta about “disclosure and zero point energy,” and promised that a colleague named Terri Mansfield would “bring us up to date on the Vatican’s awareness of ETI.”

Mitchell sent another plea via email that August.

“Remember, our nonviolent ETI from the contiguous universe are helping us bring zero point energy to Earth,” Podesta was told. “They will not tolerate any forms of military violence on Earth or in space.”

The reference to ETI – extraterrestrial intelligence – set off alarm bells. So did mention of zero point energy, which its fans claim could be harnessed as an inexhaustible power supply.

Podesta seems to intimate that aliens exist in an interview conducted a while back.

Surprised this hasn't elicited more interest. It's not like these claims are coming from a couple of hobos. One is a former NASA astronaut and the other is Hillary Clinton's top political adviser.

I never know what to think when something like this comes up. One the one hand I feel like if there were aliens here on out planet it'd be pretty hard to keep it a secret, but on the other hand like you said this isn't a couple of hobos in tinfoil sombreros were talking about here.

We already know that intelligent life exists (we're proof of that) and given the vastness of the universe, the probability that it exists elsewhere seems high to me.

I've always been skeptical that we've actually been visited, but I wouldn't rule it out either.

I can't remember names or even many details but there was a guy on one of those programs about aliens who supposedly had inside information. He said some presidents were filled in once they took office but some weren't given any real information. He said Clinton was one who was kept in the dark about most of it and he said Carter was briefed. He said after the meeting Carter put his hands over his face and cried. I have no idea if any of it was remotely true but seeing how untrustworthy our government has been proven to be for many many years I wouldn't completely disregard anything.

It is possible that we are the et's, we might be the ones we are wondering if we are real. For sure it is possible that there is other life out there. We live in outer space. We are a creation of the cosmos. We are here because the conditions for life like ours is right. The elements that created our planet came from the entire universe, that means that the universe is made of the same stuff we are. So why wouldn't there be life elsewhere? We live in the vastness of space we are made of exploded stars isn't that enough? To the aliens we would be the aliens. Maybe the bad aliens. Maybe when they see our planet and all the space junk floating around our planet they say nope we cant go to that planet it is a junk planet, they are planet destroyers. We don't want to catch that bad virus.

There are a lot of scenarios to consider. Here is a vid of google earth, looks like this is not the first time around. Looks like humanity had evolved in the past and then had to evolve all over again. Maybe we evolve just enough to destroy our earth and with it the very conditions that supported our life.

It would be interesting to see the astronaut's mental health history, but of course it is not our right to do so. I believe that an alien inteligence that could master interstellar space could kick our ass without breaking a sweat , so if such aleins find us we'd better hope that they don't look upon less advanced societies as we do.
BTW, we already have inexhaustable energy, it's called the sun.
