My wife takes the bag out of the box and keeps it in the cupboard to keep it out of the light. She calls it space wine

My body apparently decided, a year or two ago, that it will no longer tolerate even a small amount of alcohol. I used to enjoy a bit of really good quality bourbon, an ice-cold Corona with a Mexican meal out, a couple of glasses of champagne on special occasions, or a few (as my wife calls them) "adult" eggnogs around the Holidays. Now a single drink causes me to become ill. Of all the weird and unfortunate allergies to develop...I guess it could be worse. My body might have developed an intolerance toward chocolate, or potatoes, or beef...something really essential to my mental well being.

The older I get, the less I care about the opinion of others. I need a tee-shirt with Popeye the Sailor and "I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam" on it!
