Gonna keep this as a running thread as long as I don't get threadbanned from it which is a possibility anymore.

These are original terms, created by me, "isms" and if someone else used it, they read my mind.

So the first one: Projectionist

No, not the movie theater film guy, this is the segment of folks who want to project ideology or characteristics on others for political/social reasons, generally progressives but moreso hacks in general including the right.

For example, Trump was elected for a number of reasons but the progressive left is hell bent on projecting white nationalism on him.

White guilt, racism, bigotry, misogyny, homophobia (whatever that means) all generally fall into this category.

And to be fair, the right projected Islam on teh O'bama, just another example.

Being a projectionist, then, is something like being a purveyor of Straw Men, in an exaggerated fashion. I attempt to saddle you with a belief or opinion you don't hold - or I presume to saddle you with an entire ideology or belief system.

Right. That is the point. Misusing words destroys their meaning.

Xenophobia is a big one these days for the hard left. It practically does not exist in the real world, but they sure toss it around a lot.
