    Now I have heard everything.
I've never said Rodham lost the election, I've been saying that the Trump phenomenon is a direct product of out-of-control "progress".

    Try to keep up.

What prevents Trump from being given a chance (by people like me) is a lack of accountability. He's not held to any standard, and can basically do whatever he wants, flip flop, lie, and generally do stuff that would get Obama or anyone else tarred and feathered. The guy tweets conspiracy theories by Alex Jones. He hires people that have literally done the stuff that he slammed Hillary Clinton for, if he hasn't done it himself -- or worse.

I feel that if his critics gave him a chance, then absolutely no one would hold him accountable. He would be normalized from all angles.

Even if you disagree with everything I said, can we agree that Trump is held to a different standard than basically everyone?
Tell me how your rant would not apply to Barack Obama? Barack Obama has never been held accountable for anything he said or done.

I didn't vote for Trump since I'd taken an oath to never vote for another Democrat but I will wait to see what he does. Donald Trump may not love America but at least there is no evidence he hates America.

The same sorts of stories were told about the Brexit voters.

Next up, a constitutional referendum in Italy and then national elections in France and Germany.

Nationalism v. globalism is what we are seeing at play.

I may have mentioned that Trump would win, once or twice.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

You're a better man than me, if I was predicting a Trump win all along I'd still be shamelessly doing victory laps.

I suspected it very early in the primary campaign. Then I remained certain except for one two-hour period.

Trump's victory buys time to put the Article V convention of states in place. He will have his ups and downs. If the nation is to live we must move the convention of states forward.

The "grab them by the $#@!" thing?

I watched that debate right after that came out and I saw, initially a dejected Trump who seemed to have realized that the campaign was over.

By the end of the debate that vision vanished.

I did a couple times consider voting for Trump but I just couldn't in good conscience. But I'm glad he won.

Yes. Very few people predicted that Trump would win.
