I'm not sure what laws attempt to mitigate the impact of firearms in American households. I expect that it varies state by state.
Probably because you're not an American. Or maybe you are and simply insist that you're Canadian for plausible deniability however; I've never seen a Canadian so disinterested in their own politics and so completely involved in America's.
With that being said....read a book...google firearm laws in the U.S. You will quickly find the laws you saw you're not sure of... They exist in every State and there have been countless....INNOCENT...individuals who have gone to prison for gun laws that were interpreted simply to find reasoning behind a tragedy like a kid shooting himself by accident.
I find your lack of faith...disturbing...

I didn't say there was. I said legislation that attempts to mitigate. Food labeling and the promotion and education with regards to healthy eating is what I was talking about.

When all else fails...bring up Canada. You sure told me.

LOL...yes, those claiming that the goal is confiscation are paranoid idiots. I live in a country with common sense gun laws and the result is far fewer deaths. Yes, I require a licence, but even in a country like Canada with more restrictive gun laws, there is no threat of confiscation. So rage on little guy...I don't really care what you believe.

Yeah, any day now they're going to take away my guns. Just like speed limits and car licensing means any day now they'll take away my car.

I appreciate your passion...it would be nice if you could pair it with intelligence, reason and facts.

Both of the two recent 2nd Amendment cases addressed blanket prohibitions. If upheld, the possession of firearms would become a function of statute/ordinance.
