So in this issue in you live in this mayor's city your opinion matters at the next election. If you're a stakeholder in the developers company your opinions matteres now.

How forgiving Trump voters may be is not the issue. The issue is how hateful the Clinton voters are. When our current president was elected, two times, I didn't know any voters who voted for McCain or Romney who quit talking to family or friends because their candidate lost. On the contrary, they kept arguing with the idiots who voted for the man who'd accomplished nothing and promised to maintain his record. They did not fall apart weeping on colleges and universities and demand Play-Doh, coloring books, and counseling. They didn't stand on stages making insane threats to leave the U.S. or, your specialty, issue bogus quotes attributed to Barack Obama. They didn't stand in traffic whining and they didn't try to change the system to guarantee a win for the next idiot they ran.

I do rather admire Cigar for continuing to attempt to justify the unjustifiable.
