I've been living in Arizona for 23 years, so I have become accustomed to a certain amount of hot spiciness...though I draw the line at things that hurt to eat.

I was just remembering that line from My Big Fat Greek Wedding, where they're discussing food for the big party they're going to have in celebration of the daughter's engagement. The girl tells her aunt that her fiancé is a vegetarian - then she has to explain what that means. So finally the aunt says, "Okay, we won't have meat. I'll make lamb."

Gotta take a hatchet and split the shell then gut and butcher.I just put it in a crock pot till it falls off the bone 6 or so hours later. Then add to whatever suits your fancy. They have a strange mix of white and dark meat and a yellow greasy fat.I did not want to kill it but it was throat hooked and I would rather harvest than cut the line and it die slow.I will try to avoid catching them.It was ugly and sad

Yes, well there is that. Considering how many attacks by Muslim extremists target and kill other Muslims, even being a true believer apparently isn't a very good defense.

They can find a war on Christmas and Christians, but will argue you to death about a war on anything not pertaining to the majority, seems like SSDD to me.

Then not calling little people 'midgets', or not calling women 'broads' or minorities by one slur or another is asking too much.
    That is a good example...

    mid·get
    ˈmijit/
    nounoffensive

    noun: midget; plural noun: midgets
    1.
an extremely or unusually small person.
synonyms: small person, dwarf, homunculus, Lilliputian, halfling, gnome, pygmy; informalshrimp
"the inhabitants must have been midgets"

How is that offensive? I mean, really... "Little People"? If I was a midget and you called me a "Little Person, I would probably kick you right in the kneecap. CHILDREN are "Little People". How much more offensive can you get? It is condescending and insulting.

Let's do the "Indian" thing. You do realize that most Indians refer to themselves as "Indians", do you not? The whole "Native American" thing is some Russel Means, AIM ($#@!s In Moccasins) nonsense, propagated by the mainstream media. I live in Indian Country. The casique (religious leader) of my local pueblo and I have been friends for over 20 years. I remember when I was first introduced to him, the very first thing he said to me was "Do you talk Indian?", wanting to know if I spoke Tiwa. One of my favorite stories involves a stupid, liberal, politically correct Anglo woman who chastised me for referring to another old friend as "Chief" when I ran into him in a grocery store. She berated me up one side and down the other for calling that "fine Native American man" Chief. I waited until she got done venting her Spleen and explained to her (quite politely for me) that she was a idiot and "Chief" was not a nickname, it was his title. The guy I was talking to was Chief of the Tribal Police Department.

That is the sort of thing that makes people want to take the PC police and shove their heads up their asses. If some moron came up to me and chastised me for referring to a midget as a midget instead of a "Little Person", I would have him in tears is very short order.

People are tired of it. Much of Trump's popularity springs from that fact. Folks are sick of having to walk on eggshells around every little niche group because someone (generally someone outside that group) has decided that common use language is suddenly offensive.
