The forum board I used to post on is dying out, so I found this and hope it works out.

Welcome to the board, and don't be put off by some of the posts in this thread. Also, some of those are a bit misleading - I reckon this is a mainly conservative site (but that's not a problem, there are a lot of nice people here). I'm not political myself (don't really know enough) but a couple of posters have called me a 'lefty', but I think that's cos I'm not American. Anyway, I lurked on different boards a long time before joining here like two years ago, and even though I sometimes get flak for my 'lefty' views, most people here are great to me. I hope you have the same experience, and look forward to hearing your views.
