    There was a big bacon marketing scheme a while back, hence the bacon craze, especially on Facebook.

    Bacon is ok, if cooked right.

    Too squishy, disgusting. Too crispy, jawbreaking.

    It's great in salads.

    Who doesn't love bacon? All my years out camping the morning was only perfect when I fried eggs in bacon grease and ate 'em with toast and coffee. Ahhhh THAT's living....
