Would my opinion get me disqualified from Jury Duty?

In Virginia lawyers are exempt from jury duty but they can waive that. I did. I think it would be cool to be on a jury.

I really don't understand why anyone would want to get out of jury duty. I got to be the foreman on a jury trial. The defendant was ultimately convicted of rape, burglary and false imprisonment.

You have three votes in our Republic: Your vote at the polls, your Grand Jury vote and your vote in the courtroom. Your court-room vote is the only time you will be equal to the President and Congress.
