Not Optimal Now Blames Intelligence Community for Lies on Benghazi

Never one to step up and say "entirely my fault", the White House, according to the New York Times, is putting the onus on the CIA.

WASHINGTON — Even as Susan E. Rice took to the Sunday talk shows last month to describe the Obama administration’s assessment of the Sept. 11 attack on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, intelligence analysts suspected that the explanation was outdated.Ms. Rice, the United States ambassador to the United Nations, has said that the judgments she offered on the five talk shows on Sept. 16 came from talking points prepared by the C.I.A., which reckoned that the attack that killed Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans had resulted from a spontaneous mob that was angry about an anti-Islamic video that had set off protests elsewhere. That assessment, described to Ms. Rice in briefings the day before her television appearances, was based on intercepted communications, informants’ tips and Libyan press reports, officials said.

First Hillary threw herself under the bus, now Ms. Rice. This guy hides behind women.

    My question?

Why was the intel so $#@!ing bad?

    The retribution begins...

'Benghazi attack suspect' dies in Cairo shootout
24 October 2012 - Security officials quoted in Egyptian media said they had tracked the man to the address in Madinet Nasr
A man suspected of involvement in an attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi last month has been killed in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, officials say. The man was killed after an exchange of fire with security services in the Cairo suburb of Madinet Nasr. Authorities named the man only as Hazem.

Four US diplomatic officials were killed in the Benghazi attack, among them the US ambassador to Libya. According to the Egyptian officials the suspect was cornered in a flat in Madinet Nasr early on Wednesday morning. He threw a bomb at the security forces, but it bounced back into the flat.

An exchange of fire with the security services then began and went on for several hours, local media reports say. The suspect's burnt body was found in the property, along with weapons and explosive materials, officials say. The area was sealed off by police while emergency services dealt with a blaze caused by the exchange of fire.

Emergency services also had to rescue other residents of the building using hydraulic ladders, officials told the al-Ahram newspaper. One possibility is that the suspect was trying to make his way to the Sinai peninsula, which has become a magnet for militants from across the region, the BBC's Jon Leyne in Cairo reports.

Obama being a narcissist can't blame himself...he is not capable of uttering the words, especially when he is losing the race. But he isn't really worried because like all poor democrats, he purchased a 35 million dollar estate in Hawaii to go weep in, while the wife of the ambassador mourns her defiled husband.

This is ridiculous... Obama did take responsibility.. They were running a covert operation and you want all the information. Her husband wasn't "defiled"... Quit spreading cruel lies.

Everyone is a bump in the road for him. I don't believe he has the capacity to feel for anyone or anything. He is just a talking head.

I don't think the intel was bad, it was ignored and now these Idiots are running around like the Katzenjammer Kids, what's scary is they are in charge but the last 4 years speaks for itself.
