Rise up!
I was hoping for a Stealers vs GB superbowl.
Granny says, "Oh...
... is the Superbowl gonna be in Long Island?"
It's going to be a Good One.
I hope so. I hate blowouts. No matter what happens though the Patriots have been a great team. This will be their 9th trip to the Superbowl. They have won 4 and lost 4. This will be the 7th appearance for Brady and Belichick and they have only lost 2.
Once my Broncos were out I was kind of thinking it would be cool to see Superbowl LI be a repeat of Superbowl 1 with the Packers and the Chiefs but they couldn't get up for it. Its past being an embarrassment for the Chiefs coming so close so many times with some pretty good teams but not being able to win the big games in the playoffs. Of course my Broncos had a little bit to do with that.
If Matt Ryan and his receivers are in synch like they were in both of their playoff games, they can't lose. That offense is as close to unstoppable as one can get. Atlanta will be scoring TD's while NE will be kicking field goals.
You'd think so but New England has an uncanny way of neutralizing a teams best players or at least minimizing them. Atlanta also has an offensive coach who mixes it up and attacking "where they ain't." He also makes changes when things aren't working instead of sticking with the game plan. I hope its a shootout with no clear winner til the final seconds of the game. I hate blowouts.
Falcons by 3.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....
My Broncos and my Cardinals are out of it so I don't really care who wins. It would be cool for Brady/Belichick to set another record with seven appearances and five wins but at the same time if they lose then the Patriots will have lost 5 superbowls and be tied with my Broncos in that regard. Both teams are great though with the Broncos having been there 8 times and the Patriots will be there for their 9th game which is a record in itself. Almost makes me feel guilty and sorry for the teams who have never been there at all or never won one.
