Anyways, if I had been named after my dad's car my name would have been "Caprice". I think it was an '85 sedan. They bought it before my brother was born in '86, and I think it was used.
My... third car in high school was a Caprice Classic, 76 I think. 4-doors but only the two back doors worked, had go climb over the seat to drive it. Seatbelts? Cut out by the former owner lol.

I had to think about that, yeah - third car.

The first one was a LeMans (sp?), bought it when I was 15 for fifty bucks, never got it running. Then I got a Monte Carlo, nice car too but I sort of wrecked it so my parents gave me their old car, the Caprice and used mine to trade it in for their new car - another Monte Carlo.

Then I had a 4th car, and a 5th actually - a Toyota Tercel then traded that in for my first new car, a Toyota pickup which I kept for a long time.

I had money when I was a kid, I earned it too, I was the newspaper delivery kingpin for years in Pittsburgh.

Lol, I would be called Jaguar (which is pretty cool) or Sovereign (less cool) cos my dad had a 1999 Jaguar Sovereign when I was born. I don't remember it, but I seen pix of it. He had moved to BMW by the time I was old enough to recognise cars, but I don't think I would have liked being named Bayerische Motoren Werke.
Oh, I wish I were a glow worm,
for a glow worm's never glum,
'cause how can you be grumpy
when the sun shines out your bum!

I would have been named LeMans... both parents had one at the time.
