If there was any doubt b4 about the lack of trustfulness of crooked donny, this should remove it.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

Trump's budget director is running it up the flagpole.

Has anyone seen Trump's response, or is this just bedshitting-as-usual?

Hundreds of millions of American taxpayers' futures ride on this. Releasing trial balloons is irresponsible.

As is using the term bedshiting to describe their understandable concerns.

In the end, we are all going to be elderly bedshiters. You of all people should know that.

Had teh O'bama not mortgaged our children's future for his short term political gain difficult decisions may not have had to have been considered.

This budget director is doing his job, he's asking the difficult questions. I ask difficult questions on a regular basis because it's part of my job, that's what leaders do. I know in liberal la la land (yes, it's Mac's term) everything is rainbows and unicorns but the reality of the matter is - if teh O'bama were more fiscally responsible and didn't run up our national credit card like a drunken sailor, then maybe you might have a point.

No, had not one administration after another for years not taken receipts for social security and burned it in the general funds the program would be Billions ahead and solvent. But we build walls, buy f-35's and waste money up the butt with the military. $#@! the old who are powerless.

We spend the monies on social security, Medicaid, and medicare, Jim. This is simply not a true statement from you thus cannot go unchallenged. The waste in defense spending pales in comparison to wasteful spending and fraud regarding our entitlements. Can you explain your error here, is it purposeful or do you not have enough information to make an accurate analysis. Cause, this one isn't even close.

That ship has sailed but no more cuts. Remmeber grey hairs vote. If you do change the retirement age grandfather everyone over forty and give those under 40 the option of getting their contributions back and signing off on future SS rights,

You are absolutely 100% wrong. Social Security was originally set up as a trust fun. The money was to be held in trust until the subscriber retired and became eligible to collect. Somewhere along the way, congress decided those funds should go into the general fund and it could be used but repaid, the using got done, the repayment didn't.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

Trump has been president for 6 days. All the social security "trust" thefts and bloated military spending and unnecessary wars and lies the 20 trillion dollar debt have been the establishment for the last hundred years, mostly in the last 50 years. You would think people might finally be willing to at least entertain something different or at least give the new administration a few months to show their cards. "You want me to believe that Omar was a stoolie Trump is going to cut social security because Sosa Elizabeth Warren said so? You bought that line!"
