Thumbs up Trump's Mexican standoff puts half a trillion in trade at risk

Making America Poor Again .. way to play it Donaldo!

President Donald Trump's efforts to force Mexico into funding a $15 billion border fence along the United States' southern border has raised tensions between the two countries to levels not seen in decades.

As to where things go from here, that remains to be seen. But what's clear is that U.S. states — and businesses — have plenty of reasons (make that more than 500 billion reasons) to want a reconciliation between Trump and Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto sooner rather than later.

It was a dumb campaign promise and it's even dumber to risk our trade relationship just to make it happen. When it comes to trade policy, Trump and many of his supporters have a tendency to think like Marxists.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Trump may have been a tremendous negotiator when it came to putting his name on stuff.

He sucks at international relations, diplomacy and trade.

    Gonna be a rough ride.

Mexico mainly exports oil to the US. It also exports electronics, farm equipment, minerals, steel and produce...to the tune of nearly $300 billion. That's a lot of hookers and anchor babies.
