I wish her all the best. You have support in America as well, Marine, we're cheerin fer ya.

    Dear Vlad,

Hi Putin, after such success hacking the shiit out of the DNC and proving what illiterate morons they are and colluding with the Trump Campaign to keep the glass ceiling at the Javits Center intact....might you see fit as well to sway the French elections? Thanks. See ya in 2020, we're gonna need your help again. As soon as they figure out what liberal clown they're running for President, I want you to immediately hack in and expose their treachery like we did with Hillary. Spasibo, Vlad!

I've been cheering for the Front National since 2002.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

The first rounds of elections are tomorrow. French authorities are worried about riots if the far right and far left candidates are the two to move onto round 2. They are worried that it will be a "Jihadist threat" vote. Well, western European governments have created polices that make that threat greater. And the citizens have figured that out.

Riots could break out in cities across France after results are announced of the first round of the presidential election, intelligence services have warned, as the most unpredictable vote in decades goes ahead amid a heightened terror alert.

Trouble is almost certain if the far-Right leader Marine Le Pen and her far-Left counterpart Jean-Luc-Mélenchon are the two candidates who make it through to the second and final round on May 7, according to a report issued by French intelligence services.

The confidential document, leaked to Le Parisien newspaper, said that at the top of the list of potential security problems as millions of France cast their ballots was the “jihadist threat.”
I wonder if they understand why this is happening to them?

One wonders about any hidden vote. The one not seen in polling in Britain or the US. If we were to believe polling, both Trump nor Brexit ever would have stood a chance.

Le Pen and the "Independent Centrist" Macron aren't the far right or left? I don't know how they keep it all straight. The two top vote getters have some runoff or something?

Left-right is not defined the same way in Europe as it is here.

French Elections: Marine Le Pen Backed By Quiet Army of Women.....

Troin told NBC News that it wasn't just the FN's stance on Islam and immigration that attracted her, but also the party's populist take on the economy.

But most of all, it was the party's charismatic leader, Marine Le Pen, who captured Troin's loyalty.

Troin is part of a quiet army of female National Front supporters, who could well tip the balance of the election and give the presidency to the hard-right.

Meanwhile, the FN's influence has spread from its heartlands along the Mediterranean coast and in the rust-belt north, into rural "forgotten" France.

Polling institute Elabe recently predicted that 22 percent of women would vote for the National Front in the first round Sunday — almost 5 percent more than in 2012. .....snip~

No, I get that much. Apparently, both of these candidates are 'centrist', it's interesting the one that merely leans right fills so many with panic.

The polls have the centrist up for the next round.

But the polls had Brexit as a no, as well as Clinton as winning. So we shall see.
