Wow. But you are from Ohio, where the election is said to be decided. Normally Republicans don't put too much stock in Wisconsin, but for a change we're getting a small taste of what it's like to be a battleground state. Even that's bad so I shudder to think how bad it is in Ohio right now.

I get automated calls for money from the Obama camp and they have no idea they are calling Canada. I sometimes keep pressing the numbers...to keep them the automated call going thinking its costing them....

Lawn signs are stupid anyway...and the way things are going, it's getting way too tense.

Well if I had bought a lawn sign I would put it up. Did wear a sticker at the fair but it was free. I don't worry about who likes it or not.

I don't give my phone number out to anyone. While I know there are random number generators, I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number, so it never scores a hit. Plus the US has a "do not call" list that works great.

So I don't get those calls.

Like the internet, the phone system is purposely unrestricted where just about anyone can violate your privacy at any time.

No they are not racist. Nor is Obama a Muslim or a socialist.

It's all the witless pettiness of political opposition.

No, Obama has declared himself a social democrat, and that's a form of socialist.

Then GW was a socialist since he was a social conservative.

True that--I called him a socialist con back then. Keep in mind the key attribute of socialism is central planning.

We, the Moderators, will not be baited into over-heavy moderation that will only force members away. We take all reported posts seriously and spend considerable time debating the merits, or lack thereof, of every report. It is a thankless task, I assure you.

As I said before, whether we like it or not, we are all in this mess together, and we will only get out of it by coming together to solve our critical problems as a nation.

I suggest for the sensitive members to consider the ignore feature for the duration of the election and post-election cycle. Once the smoke clears it will be safe again to participate fully in our Forum.
