I photograph horses, particularly Arabians, as a hobby. This weather makes me want to get out there and shoot, but my horses are dirty and it's too cool to bathe them right now. So here they are when they are clean

Cool. What do you shoot with?
I use a Canon 40D and my go-to lens for photographing horses/pets is a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS. I just purchased a used Canon 28-105mm f4 IS and I'm eager to start experimenting with it.
Again, my level is experienced beginner, pretty much self taught so far. I know how to use only a fraction of what my camera can do, but I'm determined, lol.
Do you like photography? If so, what camera, lenses, etc do you use and what do you like to shoot?

The 70-200 is a great lens. I've used it for portraits and it's great for that. The 28-105 isn't super great. I hope you got a good deal.
I'm just an amateur as well, although I have done some professional photography.
I switched from Canon to Sony if you can believe it. The Sony A7 and a6000 are great little cameras with great technology.
I mainly shoot with prime lenses. Mainly my 50mm Zeiss. I have a $#@!ty zoom but I'm going to buy a 24-240 f3.5.
The shots look great, btw.
Thank you for the compliment I wanted a 28-105 with a better f stop, but I couldn't afford it. What don't you like about the lens? Believe me, I need all the help and advice I can get, so your input is welcome.
I went to a one day clinic with Scott Trees and he brought a mirrorless camera. It was so much lighter than the high end cameras , plus he said he was pleasantly surprised by the quality of photos it produced. I want to say it was a Sony. Is that what you have?
I bought a 50mm but it doesn't work for what I do, so I'm giving it to a friend.
Very nice looking horses, thanks for posting, great pictures!
We like horses too! Daughter is a trainer.
