Weird - Never heard of this before.

My old saddle bred (first horse/many bloody noses) was really hard to load or shoe - This would have been a handy tip.

I've heard of this method but have never tried it. Good to know it works, thanks!

Beautiful horses, Kathy! You're a pretty good photographer, too.

I currently have a Friesian mare and, a quarter horse gelding (Palomino.)

The horse in my avatar is a paint I had years ago. He lived to be 37, he was 30 in that picture.

That no one is holding the lead rope is a little disturbing! The first thing I learned as a kid is, stay on the side of the farrier, if it acts up, pull the lead rope away from the shoer, the ass swings out and away!

I do have pictures, but, honestly, not sure if I know how to post from my phone.

Best way is to either "attach" them and if they're not too big the forum will host them.

Or host them on Photobucket or similar. Photobucket sucks btw but there are other photo hosting services out there.

It isn't a very good picture, I was basically just experimenting to see if I could do it.
