You hit the nail on the head in regards to white nationalism/supremacism, their biggest fear is interracial marriage. Why do you think it took so long for the laws against miscegenation to be removed from the books? Because the south was rife with the ideology that you described above. Every move a WN/WS makes has that end game as part of the problem. A good example is how so many want to disband the department of education. Why? because it allows too much mixing of the races, but that is not the message that you can speak to the masses with, so you use terms like "vouchers", or "homeschool". This is why it's important to listen to people when they talk, because usually you will get to the underlying truth sooner or later.

So I had myself an epiphany.

Actually, that’s not quite the right word. An epiphany is a moment of sudden clarity, but mine rolled in slowly, like dawn on a crystal morning.

I’m not sure when it began. Maybe it was in 2012 when Trayvon Martin was killed and much of America held him guilty of his own murder. Maybe it was in 2013 when the Voting Rights Act was eviscerated and states began hatching schemes to suppress the African-American vote. Maybe it was on Election Day. Maybe it was a few weeks later, when a South Carolina jury deadlocked because the panel — most of them white — could not agree that it was a crime for a police officer to shoot an unarmed black man in the back. Could not agree, even though they saw it on video.

I can’t say exactly when it was. All I know is that the dawn broke and I realized I had forgotten something.

I had forgotten that I am black.

While individual persons of color may well discriminate against a white person or another person of color because of their race, this does not qualify as racism according to our definition because that person of color cannot depend upon all the institutions of society to enforce or extend his or her personal dislike.

I knew a lot of people you would like to have known. I debated Hosea Williams on tv several times - matter of fact, his show got cancelled because he challenged me to come on his show and it didn't pan out for him. His audience booed him!
