Trump signs bill undoing Obama coal mining rule


President Trump on Thursday signed legislation ending a key Obama administration coal mining rule.
The bill quashes the Office of Surface Mining's Stream Protection Rule, a regulation to protect waterways from coal mining waste that officials finalized in December.
The legislation is the second Trump has signed into law ending an Obama-era environmental regulation. On Tuesday, he signed a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution undoing a financial disclosure requirement for energy companies.

It would be a good thing if he could get the coal industry back on track.

How come Trump didn't ask Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell ... who are standing right there ... what they did with the $2 Billion they extorted from the U.S. Treasury to prevent the economic collapse they created with a govt. shutdown that would have led to a Sovereign Default in 2011 giving us austerity and sequestration ?


This is important given how many times Trump declared he will get rid of austerity and sequestration (Budget Control Act of 2011)

How many times do you need to be corrected that the US was not in danger of a default if we didn't raise the debt ceiling?
