Not really. Fewer conservatives get "fired up" than do Progressive types. And, conservatives are typically more peaceful, law-abiding folks.

What I found more interesting was the fact that so many anti-Trumpers showed up to protest the rally-goers. It reeked of desperation and sore-loser mentality.

You may actually have a point. I started out in CPP, close personal protection. Security was everything. It taught me to think several moves ahead on more than one track. Later in my career I got accused of over thinking more than once.
