I've thought a lot about PolWatch and mostly smiled. No doubt you brought much warmth to those you've encountered in your life. The thoughts expressed here would lend credence to that thought. It's not likely I'll meet you this go round, but I'll do my best to catch up with you somewhere down the road.

The "Big Guy" upstairs looks forward to your arrival. Safe travels dear lady!

Omg, pol, I'm so distressed by this. You know I love you and will always be here if you need ANYTHING.

    LOTS AND LOTS of prayers!!!!
At the end of the day...I am still glad that I am me. Tail and all.

I wish there were something I could do or say to help you through this, but all I can do is keep you and your family in my thoughts. You should check into hospice care, if you haven't already. I have lost a few friends to cancer and seen what it does as time goes on, at least with hospice they try to keep you relatively comfortable and pain free when it gets to that point.

Thanks for being you, my friend.
I know. She friended me my first night here. We've had lots of laughs and some tears. I love her.

Damn that sucks. Hang in there!

Google "Rick Simpson Oil." Can't hurt and might help. At the very least it will help you emotionally.

I had no idea you were ill, pollwatch.

A close relative of mine has brain cancer. The tumor was wrapped around his brain stem and he had major seizures hourly. He had an operation last fall and now his seizures are gone and seems, for now, totally healthy. Anyway, never give up hope!

    I have a big cook.

For reasons not appropriate to this thread, I put "bladder cancer" on my smartphone news feed. Holy hell, but there is a whole lot of research being done! With new drugs and treatments every week, it seems. I have to think that there is at least that much attention being paid to brain cancer. So: persevere.

That was awesome. I would never have suspected that Dangerfield could have done that. I should have, though. He was a passionate man, and passion is always needed to do that piece justice.
