Shasta makes a diet grapefruit soda and I started making bourbon sours - highballs like my parents used to call them.

And I'm experimenting. Evan Williams seems to be my favorite. I'm not going to drop a lot of coin on any of it so the really "high end" stuff is off my list. Evan Williams is good IMO and it's not that expensive, and is the only one in a glass bottle that I've tried so far.

Picked up a fifth of Old Crow recently. Had it decades ago and didn't remember if it was any good or not. Old Sock, it's musty, not as bourbon flavorful as others. It's ok, wouldn't buy it again unless it was really on sale cheap.

Early Times is a bourbon the old Serbs out here like to drink. It's ok too I guess, cheap.

Jack Daniels is good, a bit harsh of a flavor but pricey. It's hard to pay that premium for a label but it's ok.

Makers Mark is one I remember being good but haven't re-sampled it.
I quit drinking 25 years ago for one year. I was a beer hound before I quit, a six a night with a neighbor. After the year came and went, I totally lost the taste for beer. Now, it makes me almost sick to drink one. So, I became a purist. Moonshine, and not the kind you can buy in stores. a quart last me several months.
