@Doublejack - I've been making that country $#@! for the whipmistress. Just mixing smaller doses by the glass.
She's been drinking them. All weekend.

I personally don't drink. Never really enjoyed it. Plus having a chat and active brain send to improve my quality of life.
Fear profits a man nothing.

I'm a Scotch man - occasionally vodka
Favorites are the single malt variety like Glenfiddy but that's too pricey.
So i go with either Speyburn 10 year old or Monkey Shoulder - the Monkey is technically a blended but very smooth and warms ya up on a cold winter night.
On the vodka - I just switched from Tito's (quite good - Texas made) to Vox (Canadian). The Vox is smooth as a greased slipper for same price.
Beer? I like it when i'm mega-thirsty but can only drink one or two before i start feeling bloated.
I don't know if they have it where you are, but Ancient Age (not Ancient Ancient Age) is pretty good for a cheaper bourbon. I tend to go with whatever's the cheapest and just mix it, but do like to have some bourbon straight up occasionally. Maker's Mark is pretty much made to be mixed, but it's much higher priced than what I usually get.

So, Cap, if you have questions about any bourbons, I can probably answer them.
