People that have discussed this with me know that this was a one-issue election for me -- protect the Court. Everything else was ancillary -- and could be undone in 4 years. The new justices on the Court will impact this country for the next 35-40 years. It was (and remains) my true belief that: (1) a HC presidency would've pushed the Court further left and do dramatic / permanent damage to our republican form of government (changed the yardline markers so to speak); and, (2) the Court had become intellectually dishonest in reaching result-oriented decisions. This has always happened but never with such intellectual dishonesty in my lifetime. I recognize and understand that many here disagree with me. I didn't know what I'd get with Trump - until he promised justices off of the Federalist List, but I knew what I'd get with HC. He upheld his promise. I'm very pleased.
