Oh, but it is. The Confederate flag represents racism and white supremacy. Old Glory does too.

You brought up the STANDARD of associating the Confederate flag with slavery so I merely applied the exact same standard to the US flag by associating it with violent imperialism. Not sure what's unfair about it.

It has to do with the morally depraved acts committed under the aegis of the US. I would have thought that was obvious.

Then be prepared to have every piece of American history subjected to the exact same standard. It won't be long before statues of Jefferson are considered too controversial to display on governmental or public grounds because of his association with slavery.

So reserve your anger for Nikki.
She only did it because she is a spineless politician who wanted to get ahead of the "liberal" bleating and whining.

The horror. All references to the Confederacy should be eliminated from our history.

The topic is the intellectual standard that is being applied to the Confederate flag. We're merely taking the same standard and it applying it in another context as a means of demonstrating that standard's irrationality and impracticality.

You started with a lie. Your headline is a lie.

Lawmakers consider forcing state flag on campuses

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
