I do not agree that we can do nothing, I do agree that the danger is increased with recent changes. As far as nothing to do, I may not be able to prevent it but I will say I will be judged by 12 after they are carried by 6 if I find them before LEO do.

The fact that Eric Garner was big black and scary was NOT an excuse to choke him to death. And you'd have resisted too if you'd been placed in a hold nixed by the NYPD.

Look I am a big guy and have been told a great many times that just my presence is intimidating. BUT if I had been in Garners place it would not have happened that way. I would have complied with orders, not resisted, not given them a reason to put me in any hold.
Which means I would not have been choked, I would not be dead. Thousands of people are arrested everyday who do not resist, they are not injured, they are not shot, they are simply taken to jail. This guy would most likely not even been taken to jail, he would have been cited and released most likely. He died because he was stupid, he resisted arrest and did not follow directions. I think the police went way overboard, but the bottom line is had he just done what he was told he could still be selling illegal cigarettes today.
