Probably because the Feds don't want to get shot. I don't think the FBI and Washington in general mind that black young men are killing each other too. Just saying.

They only thing that can fix Chicago is the same thing that fixed NYC, a large and constant police presence that demonstrates a take no $#@! demeanor

When police have a presense in a high crime area they are not there to kiss the ass of those committing the crimes. They are there to have compassion and give the majority of the decent people living in hell relief.

Gangs aren't illegal. When Colorado first drafted a law to criminalize gang membership I laughed because gangs were described as a group that associates together and identifies as members of the group, wear distinctive clothing, and some of whom commit crimes. That was a pretty good description of our state legislature.
