    Chicago

Why couldn't the Fed's do the same thing in Chicago as they did back in the 20's during prohibition? Instead of illegal booze, it would be illegal ganges.

Parts of Chicago are a lost cause because of government involvement.

So, once the law is created that takes care of the 'gangs' you don't approve of, what stops the government from deciding the association you approve of is next on the list?

That's already happened. They put the IRS on their trail.

I seriously doubt if the blood or crips pay taxes, nor be afraid of the IRS.

    The IRS targets other groups.

I'm simply pointing out that what you said can happen, already has happened.

Probably because the Feds don't want to get shot. I don't think the FBI and Washington in general mind that black young men are killing each other too. Just saying.

Maybe the cities should be responsible to police their own?

They only thing that can fix Chicago is the same thing that fixed NYC, a large and constant police presence that demonstrates a take no $#@! demeanor

When police have a presense in a high crime area they are not there to kiss the ass of those committing the crimes. They are there to have compassion and give the majority of the decent people living in hell relief.

Gangs aren't illegal. When Colorado first drafted a law to criminalize gang membership I laughed because gangs were described as a group that associates together and identifies as members of the group, wear distinctive clothing, and some of whom commit crimes. That was a pretty good description of our state legislature.
