LOL, just got a call from "Jack Henderson" from the"IRS"

Interestingly, he had a very thick Indian accent and spoke in broken English. and he called from what my phone says is a Florida number, (305) 501-2251. Apparently, an arrest warrant has been issued for us for failure to pay income taxes.

Submitted just in case anyone wants to work out some frustrations by calling these jizzholes and terrorizing them or simply wasting their time. Somehow I doubt that they will be calling the police to complain.

I love screwing with people like this.

Doing so interferes with their operations, eats up their time, and might save gullible people money.

I've also posted this on a few other message boards, including 4chan. Let's see what happens.

i kept a scammer on the phone one whole night off and on.

it was the *you've won the lottery but you need to pay the taxes first* scam.

was supposed to send money via western union, so i googled a western union tracking number and fed it to him.

he kept calling back and i kept giving him the number and acting confused.

when i got sick of toying with him after about three hours and a dozen callbacks, i asked him if i could ask him a question.

when he said yes i said *exactly how $#@!ing stupid do you think i am?*

this was maybe three years ago, i still chuckle at the string of expletives that he may even now still be spewing.

There was a lengthy segment on one of those weekend radio shows on NPR some years ago, about an organized group of anti-scam activists who have become expert at turning the tables on those kinds of people. They detailed a case where someone was being called from Africa for what was ostensibly a charitable cause, and the call-ee, with help from his fellow activists, managed to lure this person into actually traveling to another country to await his arrival. They managed to string this guy along for so long that he eventually ran out of money and was sleeping in the streets, and ended up losing a leg. All of this was gleefully documented by the would-be victims.

My mother got a scam call a few weeks ago. Young man says, "You know who this is? It's your oldest grandson." My mom says, "Jason?" That gives the scammer the name so he goes on to tell my mom that he and some friends were in a wreck in OKC and that everyone is physically all right but that he doesn't want his parents to find out -- and the cop or judge, whoever, said that if he pays for the damage and towing and impound fees, he can go -- no charges. He begs my mom for the money. She said "I have to talk to your dad first," and the guy eventually hung up. Of course, it wasn't Jason at all. Jason was home in Utah the whole time.

I hate creeps like that. He upset her.

Tell the IRS they have the wrong number. Tell them that you are Lois Lerner or her husband and that any problems they might have had were dealt with by pleading the 5th and that furthermore you refuse to talk citing that same 5th amendment that protects you from self incrimination. Then say "goodbye Punjab" and hang up.

Gotta love when you have a computer crash and "Microsoft" calls you moments later offering to remotely fix it, just after you give your credit card # of course!

I got an email from a "friend", said she was stranded overseas, can't remember where at the moment, but, she was robbed, all of her money, wallet, ID....... miraculously, she still had her passport......the hotel was gonna kick her out because she couldn't pay the bill. I was asked to please help by sending money.

I thought, hmmm, why didn't she call/email her husband, or, a friend she's known longer.

I called her, she was home, she said someone hacked into her email account and, everyone on her contact list, got the same email.

I got that call. I don't have a PC in the house, but this guy was insisting my Windows PC was in dire need of a security patch, and he required my MAC address to solve the problem. Naturally, playing puternoob was fun. I allowed him to 'guide' me to where I could relay my MAC address to him.

    It went like this:

    1A:ES:3F:FU:CK:YO:U2

Got all the way to the O before the asshat hung up.
