    Scary Cat Antics

Why do cats do stuff like this?

This is Evita, just this morning. I coaxed and coaxed her to come back to the stairs -- to the right -- which is how she got to the windowsill. She just laid down and closed her eyes, making me even more nervous she might roll off the sill. I finally went back into my office because it was making me anxious to see her there.

Cats simply don't mind. You can't control them or train them like you can train dogs.

She didn't fall. She finally got off the sill, although I didn't see her do it.

Starting my day on a nerve-wracking note.

Our cat Angel lived to be almost 17, she was strictly indoor and she was a big girl a Norwegian forrest cat. She would follow me all over the house room to room.

Mine, a five month old tabby, will weave between the posts of the second floor railing. First time I saw it I panicked. Then figured, he'll land on his feet, hopefully.

LOL -- okay, I get where you're coming from. Pieced in the curve you can see, too tight of a radius, but we wet-formed a gentler curve toward the bottom.

I don't think I've ever seen a Norwegian forest cat but it sounds amazing! I love it that cats live longer lives.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. They seem to have no fear of heights.

None at all. And probably don't need to as they always land on their feet.
