Cooking smelly food in Italy is now a crime

After you soak it and get the salt out and rehydrate its not so bad, depending on how its made it can be delicious.

The Italian people have the right to own property in Italy. And least since the last time that I was there a year and a half ago.

You can buy it and own property but its almost impossible to sell a house last time I was told. You buy a house and just keep passing it down in areas of italia

Northerners seeking a holiday home near the Med will always buy. Part of Tuscany was known as "Chiantishire" there were so many well-off Brits living in the area. They're being outbid by Russians ATM.

In a way, it's cute - almost endearing - how so many self-identified Conservatives like to think of their claimed ideology as being this bastion of personal freedom against the evils of governmental intrusion. As though a court in a "Conservative" part of the world would have just told the neighbors to suck it up and mind their own business. As though the history of Conservatism in America was not a history of individual citizens having innumerable personal choices denied or dictated to them by the State, and of victimless crimes being among the most severely punished.

I should have prefaced my post with the quote from 'Stjames' that prompted it.

Italy is a socialistic state......................This is what some of our members want, Rights for themselves and no one else. Or at least special Rights. It reminds me of this:
Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others.

Of course it's not political...but for some folks anything anyone anywhere ever does to stop somebody from doing something is a "nanny state" situation now.
