Exclamation To get through the storm, bureaucracy and red tape must cease.

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1012/83068.html

“This storm is not yet over. America is with you; we are standing behind you; and we are going to do everything we can to get you back on your feet. Obviously, this is something that is heartbreaking for the entire nation.”

The president praised the coordination between federal, state and local officials and instructed the federal agencies not to say why they can’t do something but to figure out how they can.
    “No bureaucracy. No red tape,”
I know this is a few days old, but stay with me. This is a mindblowingly-simple metaphor for the whole country, and I'm going to make it very fast for you:

The recession has been referred to many times as a storm, and Obama himself admits that for recovery after the storm, red tape must be cut, bureaucracy must be stopped, and people need to let the progress happen without big government getting in the way.

Isn't this a bit of an epiphany for the man who goes around the constitution to make government bigger, pass more mandates, regulations, and so forth?

Maybe he realizes that if he were to let his bureaucracy, red tape, and big government stand in the way, the death toll would be double or triple what it is right now by the time this thing is over?

How I did not draw this comparison earlier is beyond me, but there it is for all of you.

If you want this fiscal hurricane to end, Mitt Romney must win this election so we can cut red tape, cut bureaucracy, and stop big government in the White House.
