You can be an atheist and a good person. But institutionalized atheism is, without exception, a nihilistic, power-driven horror show.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Oh please. Hitler was national socialist. His God was the state.
Your point being?None of the people listed personally killed many people at all...
That's true, but only because atheism isn't really a cause. If anything, it's the absence of a cause. And that absence is dearly felt by societies who experience it....and none of them did it in the cause of atheism.
Also true, but most atheists, despite their protestations to the contrary, have a religion. More often than not, their religion is the state. And it makes a lot sense from an anthropological perspective that the state would fulfill the religious needs of people who deny the existence of God.You need religion for that.

Yes, for me, "institutionalized" is largely a byword for "state policy". That is not to say institutions cannot exist independently of state power, but that is seldom the case in actual practice. So when I talk about institutionalized atheism, I am not talking about a society adopting atheism, I am talking about a society that is having atheism forced or pushed on them. Of course, one could point out that the real problem is not atheism but the use of force, however, I would contend that the use of force in this context is motivated in some way by the underlying atheism of officialdom.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

News: Rich people paying rich people to tell middle class people to blame poor people.
They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.
Humans in power are manipulative killing machines, be it atheists or religious peoples.
