I see twenty-somethings who work their butts off and do a great job for their employers - my own daughter received a major promotion yesterday by doing just that - and others who treat the work they're tasked with as a distraction...walking around with earbuds dangling, checking social media on their phones every five minutes, and acting like they're having to endure a hostile work environment if the boss has a problem with their spending five to six hours out of an eight-hour workday socializing with co-workers and engaging in anything and everything but the actual job they're being paid for. I don't know...maybe it's always been that way; some folks "get" work and others don't.
