Saw a devastating spot on hannity this evening. Bronco Bama giving his little 'we got your back' speech interspersed with these poor people begging for help.

    Something to think about.

Yea, right. Too easy to say something, doing it is a different thing.

I think we are looking at the biggest cluster flock in the history of modern storms. This is pathetic. I can't believe this is america.

New Yorkers are gonna die. Can you believe this?

If they don't wise up they will. You don't turn away help and the south and south east are trained in these situations. We get many here. Turning down Canada too, they got to be crazy. Fire these people up there.

Roady. I forget where you're from, sorry. I'm in the south, i think you know that. All that has to happen in virginia is for someone to suggest a storm and people are filling cars/trucks, jamming the grocery stores for essentials. Many of us have supplies that will get us thru an extended storm and GENERATORS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. Not to mention gas, diesel and ammo. What are they thinking? They're being robbed, looted, beaten, pushed around. unbelievable.

I know, I am in NC now but was mostly raised in SC and a little in VA. NC gets a lot of them and I remember Hugo hitting my Dads house and he was west of 95. No trees left around the house and he said he heard a train all night. Fran went right over my house the eye that is and felt many others.

I have visited NY on business and I would hate to be there right now. No telling what dangers they are experiencing in the dark. I feel for them, we don't have many problems like this here. We help each other.

    We're always ready.

    Safe room
    Steel beamed building
    Dried jerky
We keep 3 liter bottles of water on hand
    Coleman stove and propane
Fireplace and several cords of wood
Gas stove that works when the power it out (in the Florida room and it's a beautiful stove too)
    Guns and ammo
Plenty of canned goods, dried goods, including dried milk, and enough toilet paper for a year (not kidding)
    candles lanterns
    Coleman fuel
    Generator
    4w drive trucks (2)
    Flashlights Tarps
Cold weather clothes and camping gear
    Batteries
    2 freezers and 2 frig's
    radio
Frozen water in 3 liter bottles
4 coolers and an Igloo drinking water cooler

    Common sense
