I don't speak for everyone but I wasn't outraged, just annoyed.

Tebow is (was) no better in this sense than Kapernick. He just wanted attention.

When someone has to wear their "convictions" in front of a camera, that's about all you need to know about that persons character.

The ad stuns nothing but sensibilities. As for Timmy bow or Kap who cares? I can remember and still see kick returners crossing themselves before a kickoff or punt. Remember the players saying a prayer together before and after the game. So much ado by the snowflake repubukes.

It's actually a response from a poster that I got permission to repost. I thought it apropos given the nature of the potential meltdown the NFL visualized.

i don't believe in liberal snowflakes.

To me they are simply lowly cornflakes. Already very fragile.
Try to add a little substance or body to them like milk and they go limp quickly.

When you say everyone, you mean the little peanut gallery that jumps in to nibble when it's feeding time, right?

Tim Tebow seemed to illicit the scorn of people more than most athletes who do the things he did. I didn't give him much thought.

You feed, and gobble too much on a site that guarantees your voice will be heard.
Do you have a peanut allergy or just an aversion to good debate?
You are the weakest link here.
There is no other place for you on Internet boards.

When I watch football I want to watch football.

Not privileged $#@! baseless racial protests, not "look at me" displays of "faith"... but football.

    Period.

I have the same approach to music concerts. Shut up and sing.

If you don't like personal statements, you must not watch much football any more.
