    Using Pornhub as an example of mainstream media doesn't seem fair.


    As for the MILF thing, I think it's great that older women are no longer seen as "hags". Of course it's sexualizing them, but that's what people do. That's how romances and marriages start, and how babies are made. Men are sexualized more than ever.


    Does sexualization of women increase sexual assault? Sexual assault is decreasing. I think the average adult can flirt without resorting to and sexual assault.


    The rate of sexual assault has decreased 63% since 1993 (source). It doesn't seem that this "anaconda" culture is affecting sexual assault rates. I think women are a vulnerable population and this should be taken seriously, but second-wave feminism isn't helping.
