    Poor dog. Slugging a dog in the head is pretty awful especially after he was poisoned and probably brain damaged. Why was he left out in thunderstorms? Popeye went crazy in thunderstorms. If they happened in the middle of the night I would wake up with the dog standing on my chest panting with his eyes bugged out of his head. He was terrified.
