    Bathing a Cat

Well, I just bathed a cat for the first time in my life. She fled the sink before I could properly dry her, so she's wet as hell, under the bed, and probably won't see her again for a year. Youtube peeps made it look so simple. Either they, the cat, or both have to be stoned to make it look so easy.
And Holy Mother of God!!! That calico was po'd!!! We have to bathe her twice week with medicated shampoo until whenever. If I suddenly disappear from the board, you all know what happened

I only had to do that once. In college I had a gray tabby. He got skunked. I got really tore up, but I held him down to wash him. After that, he really wasn't scared of water. But I never had to wash him again.

My wife recently 'tried' to bath our cats.

I found something extremely important to do in the garage.

I actually had a cat when I first got married that didn't mind the water. She would occasionally jump in while I was taking a shower. Since then, not so much. If one of my cats so much as sees the dreaded squirt bottle, they are quick to stop the offending behavior.

When they start sounding like demons, you have a problem.

LOL. I recommend welding gloves, a motorcycle helmet with face shield and a leather jacket that you don't mind having slashed. Or, take her to the vet and let them bathe her. It might be worth sparing the wear and tear on your skin. Plus, cat scratch fever isn't just the name of a song!

Plus you need to watch that tail twitching. It's a sure sign of aggression.
