    I agree. It's a sin to allow food to go to waste when people are going hungry.

    We've had some success getting certain restaurants to donate food for shelter dogs, but we only take unused meat products, eggs and dairy, to keep it healthy for the dogs. It's amazing how much foods some stores and eateries toss out. We haven't had any luck with the grocery stores, yet. They're pretty hesitant to step up to the plate.

    WalMart, damn their eyes, never donates and they have a ton of good stuff going into a compacter, daily.
